Kids at Parky
August 17, 2010
We love kids at Parkerville – their energy, creativity, their heart and the hope they are for our community. Our aim is to partner with families to inspire and nurture children to live responding to Jesus.
Our leaders are passionate about helping children through fun, friendships and age appropriate learning. They enjoy regular skill development training and each one goes through a responsible care process. We’re confident they’re in the right place.

2010 Toddler Jam Registrations
January 12, 2010
Toddler Jam – the fabulous and fun musical, dancing, singing and playing program for 0-5 year olds – is back for 2010! As in past years Toddler Jam will be held each Wednesday during the school term. The morning session runs from 9:30-11:00am and the afternoon session from 1:00-2:30pm.
The program consists of an hour-long session with singing, dancing, moving, instruments, bubbles, parachute and story time, plus a half-hour morning or afternoon tea for the children (fresh fruit, cheese and crackers) and adults (Gloria Jeans coffees, tea and delicious home-made goodies).
Parkerville Toddler Jam is a non-profit program run by volunteers where all fees collected go directly towards the running of the programme. As in 2009, our weekly fees are as follows:
- $6 per family, with a family consisting of one adult and any number of children directly related to the adult;
- $2 per extra adult (eg Dad, Grandma, Aunty, family friend, etc);
- $6 per extra child (not related to the adult in the family above).
The Parkerville Toddler Jam team will be accepting registrations for the 2010 program on:
- Wednesday 27 January (9am-12noon)
- Thursday 28 January (9am-12noon)
- Friday 29 January (9am-12noon)
at Parkerville Baptist Church (click for a map) . To secure your position at Toddler Jam we ask that you pay the fees in full for first term ($48) in cash or cheque (made out to Parkerville Baptist Church), and bring them along with your completed registration form
. Unfortunately we are unable to accept registrations outside of these times. We can accomodate 50 children at each session and registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. If you miss out on gaining a place at Toddler Jam we will happily place you on a waiting list and contact you as soon as a position is available.
We will be running Toddler Jam for a total of eight weeks in first term commencing on Wednesday 10th February.
If you have any further questions please contact the Toddler Jam coordinator Karen Entwistle (toddlerjam@parkerville.net.au) or 0438 921 475.
