Toddler Jam is back for 2011

January 21, 2011

Toddler Jam – the fabulous and fun musical, dancing, singing and playing program for 0-5 year olds – is back for 2011! As in past years Toddler Jam will be held each Wednesday during the school term. The morning session runs from 9:30-11:00am and the afternoon session from 1:00-2:30pm.

The program consists of an hour-long session with singing, dancing, moving, instruments, bubbles, parachute and story time, plus a half-hour morning or afternoon tea for the children (fresh fruit, cheese and crackers) and adults (Gloria Jeans coffees, tea and delicious home-made goodies).

Parkerville Toddler Jam is a non-profit program run by volunteers where all fees collected go directly towards the running of the programme.  Parkerville Toddler Jam will start again on Wednesday 9 February 2011.

As in 2011, our weekly fees are:

  • $6 per family, with a family consisting of one adult and any number of children directly related to the adult;
  • $2 per extra adult (eg Dad, Grandma, Aunty, family friend, etc);
  • $6 per extra child (not related to the adult in the family above).

If you have any questions or would like to inquire about attending Toddler Jam in 2011 please contact the Toddler Jam coordinator Karen Entwistle (toddlerjam@parkerville.net.au) or  0438 921 475.

The Life Prayer

January 18, 2011

The disciples were puzzled.
How could Jesus live such an amazing life? He had astounding poise under pressure, incredible wisdom and insight, and he seemed so at home in his relationship with God. What was the key to his extraordinary life? One day they figured it out. So they went to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray.” They wanted more of what he had. Don’t you?

We’re exploring his response to their request over these last 3 weeks of January.
See you Sunday.
